Each service is priced clearly and described honestly, so you know what to expect before you bring your watch in.
Battery & Seal Service
We fit a fresh cell, clean the contacts, renew gaskets where needed, and confirm the case closes properly. Water resistance is checked where applicable. Straightforward and usually done within a few days.

Mechanical Service
A complete service for mechanical watches that have slowed or lost power. We clean and re-oil the movement, inspect the balance and mainspring, replace worn parts as needed, and regulate timing. About three weeks.

Heritage Restoration

How do I know which service my watch needs?
In most cases, bringing the watch in for a look is the simplest way. We'll assess it at no charge and explain what's needed before any work begins. If you're unsure whether it's worth the trip, a quick call or message gives us enough to point you in the right direction.
How long will the repair take?
A battery service is typically a few days. A full mechanical service takes around three weeks. Heritage restorations run six to eight weeks, depending on what we find during the overhaul. We'll give you a clearer estimate once we've had a chance to look at your piece.
Are the prices fixed, or can they change?
The listed prices cover the standard scope of each service. If we find something that requires additional parts or work, we'll tell you before proceeding — there's nothing added to your bill without your agreement first.
Can you work on any brand of watch?
We handle a broad range of watches — quartz and mechanical, everyday and heirloom. If you have a particularly specialist piece or an unusual complication, it's worth asking first so we can confirm we're the right fit for it.
Will you replace original parts during a restoration?
We keep original parts wherever possible and have that conversation with you before any cosmetic decisions are made. Nothing is changed without your input, particularly on pieces where the original finish or components carry meaning.
Is my watch insured while it's with you?
Watches left in our care are handled with the utmost attention. We store pieces securely throughout the service period. If you have a concern about a particularly high-value item, we're glad to discuss this when you bring it in.
